MGA’s annual summer musical theatre production is SPRING AWAKENING – book and lyrics by Steven Sater, music by Duncan Sheik, based on the original play by Frank Wedekind.

It’s a small town and the grown-ups hold all the cards… An electric, vibrant celebration of youth and rebellion, Spring Awakening fuses issues of morality and rock’n’roll into a story to which we can all relate.
A cast of over 100 professionals-in-training from The MGA Academy of Performing Arts present a stunning new take on this Tony Award-winning musical.

Dealing with issues of adolescent self-discovery and sexuality with some choice language along the way, this performance contains material of an adult nature and nudity. The music, book and choreography are rockin’ too! (Recommended age 15+)
